The organization established on jully 1997 at paithan [pratishthan nagari], Dist – Chatrapati Sambhajinagar With a view to provide financial assistance to all people , small traders & weaker section in paithan taluka. our moto was to become most preffered financial solutions provider with strong customer relationship.
Under the strong leadership & guaidance of chairman shri kishor chauhan & all board of directors, we are working on the principle of “SAHAKAR BHARATI” [Bina Sanskar, Nahi Sahakar….Bina Sahakar, Nahi Uddhar ] the organization has achieved a business target of 250 crore while expanding its head office at paithan and 13 branches across Maharashtra.
Along with providing quality banking services , we also implements various beneficial social services like blood donation camps, cataract surgery camps, jaipur foot for the disabled, ambulance service, tree plantation and care, free medical check up and many more social activities.
A Glance Towards History
Our “Paithan” city is the capital city of Satavahana and Gautamiputra Shalivahana king, known as “Pratishthan” in historical times, preserving the footprints of history and culture, and having a place as South Kashi, where Sri Sant Eknath Maharaj was buried.
Shalivahana became a Branchave and mighty king. In his childhood he came in contact with an old potter and there he learned the art of making beautiful clay idols. While playing with his Friend, he used to make many clay toys like elephants, horses, army and weapons.
There is a Story that, When King Vikramaditya attacked the city of Paithan, Shalivahana sprinkled the inviting water on the thousands of childhood toys prepared in the potter’s house, armed forces and other animals in the number of crores came to life and fought against Vikramaditya. He defeated Vikramaditya and killed him and ruled over Ujjain for many years. At that time, “Salivahana Shaka” is a popular system of chronology that came into being in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh (Southern India).
Today, when we are doing Shalivahan Shaka in 1946, in the sacred land of Shalivahan Pratishthan (Paithan) city, “Salivahan Nagari Cooperative Credit Society” emerged in the name of Shalivahana. The board of directors, members, depositors and Shares Holder of the organization are proud of the fact that it has made its debut in the 28th year and has taken a leap across Maharashtra.
